Termite Control And Treatment Castle Hill

Termites are relentless creatures that can cause severe damage without being detected. These tiny creatures are not always seen and can be doing irreparable damage without you knowing. They work tirelessly, traveling up to 100m from their nest to feed their queen. It’s crucial to be aware of these key indicators of a termite infestation:.

  • Mud Trails
  • Soft floorboards/architraves
  • Consistent power shortages
  • Cracked paint/plaster
  • Swarm of flying insects outdoors
  • Clicking sounds coming from the walls

At So Pest Off, we specialise in termite treatment and pest control to help protect your home.
Our annual termite inspections and prevention plans are designed to keep your biggest asset safe. As an accredited Termidor provider, we only use the best products to ensure effective protection.

What Do Termites Look Like?

The most obvious sign of termite infestation is the presence of mud trails on the exterior walls of your home. If you notice small piles or tubes of “Mud or Dirt” on any part of your walls that is above the ground, then get it inspected – DO NOT DISTURB it. The mud trails act as a protected tunnel that allows them to travel from the outside to the inside of your home. It will lead to a small crack, gap, or a weep hole that has direct access into the house.

The most common areas to find mud trails are usually around the walls edge, coming up from the ground around the lower edges of the brickwork. Another common area to see them is under the house on concrete stumps or uprights. If you find these mud tubes inside your home, then there is a termite infestation which requires immediate actioning.

TERMIDOR

We use Termidor, a highly effective termite control solution. Unlike older style chemicals that termites can detect and avoid, Termidor remains undetectable, ensuring that termites pass through it and ultimately perish. It is highly effective in eliminating termite colonies, as it can be passed on from termite to termite through contact and ingestion.

Termites can detect older chemicals in the soil, and in turn can avoid them. Termites can’t sense Termidor, which means they will continue to pass through the chemicals, killing them through contact & ingestion. Termites are social insects that live together in large colonies and feed and groom each other. So termites that have come into contact with Termidor soon pass it on to others. Even those secondarily affected termites can also pass Termidor on through feeding or contact.

$2 Million Dollar WARRANTY

The Termidor Assurance Warranty is unique. It covers your home for structural damage up to $2 million. It also guarantees that your home has been treated by an accredited Termidor applicator using genuine Termidor – not one of the many inferior copies. All you have to do is speak to your accredited pest controller who will start the warranty process.

Trelona® ATBS and Termidor® – Combined protection, unmatched piece of mind

The unique advantage of Trelona® ATBS is that it can be used in combination with Termidor® Residual termiticide and insecticide and Termidor® HE high-efficiency termiticide.

Termidor® has been the most trusted name in termite control since 2002 and has been the benchmark for termiticides in the Australian market. This trusted technology can now be combined with the most advanced baiting system available.

Due to termite risk or construction design, a combined treatment may provide the most adequate and thorough protection for your home. About Castle Hill, NSW

Castle Hill is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, located 34 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district and 9.5 kilometres north of Parramatta. It is within the Hills District region, split between the local government areas of The Hills Shire and Hornsby Shire. == History == === Indigenous history === The land that is now called Castle Hill was originally home to the Bidjigal people, who are believed to be a clan of the Dharuk people, who occupied all the land to the immediate west of Sydney. The best-known Aboriginal person from that time is Pemulwuy, a Bidjigal leader who led the resistance movement against settlers during the Hawkesbury and Nepean Wars, including sacking farms in Castle Hill, before his eventual capture and dispatch by local law enforcement. The Bidjigal people are today commemorated by Bidjigal Reserve which straddles the suburbs of Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, North Rocks and West Pennant Hills. === European settlement === The first European visitors to the district were led by Governor Phillip in April 1791 accompanied by an entourage. Travelling from Parramatta reaching the 'hills' following the Aboriginal trails, which today are overlaid by the Windsor and Old Northern Roads. As Governor he needed to find new country for settlement and farming land for crops so as to feed a struggling infant colony.Governor King began Third Government Farm there on 8 July 1801, referring to it as "Castle Hill" on 1 March 1802. The majority of the convicts who worked the prison farm were Irish Catholics, many having been transported for seditious activity in 1798. They were branded "politicals" and exiled for life, never to return.
